The Windmill, Suffolk

Now, this is somewhat different! The Windmill dates back to 1891 but after an incredible restoration, this is the perfect adults-only place to unwind. The stunning POD on the fourth floor offers views across the Suffolk countryside. On the ground floor, you’ll find the fully fitted kitchen with everything you need to create the perfect dish or late brunches. Push open the bi-fold doors and bring the outside in.

After all, this is a couple who came to Suffolk on an overnight stay for a Christmas Market, and pretty much walked away with the keys to a dilapidated windmill that hadn’t been touched in almost a century.
